If there is one single most important fact I can give you about a Headshot, it would be, a Headshot
is the greatest tool you have as an actor. If you were a carpenter... your Headshot would be your
hammer.
Good Headshots say many things to an Industry Professional.
They show that you're professional, they give
you strong tools for your handlers to market you and they show that you're willing to invest in your career.

But you certainly don't have to invest a fortune.

I've seen thousands of over-priced Photoshoots that left the talent/parents with a hole in their wallets and no shots to show for it. Expensive doesnt guarantee great Shots. The Entertainment Business is full of expense as it is... There's no need to rake someone over the coals.

	I have had the priveledge of working with some amazing Photographers over the years, here in Florida, Los Angeles and many places in between. I was lucky enough to pick up a few things along the way.


	I think more importantly being a Talent Scout, working all across America and receiving thousands and thousands of Headshots from Actors every year (both Good and Bad) has given me the eye to distinguish what makes up a great shot. It's a whole lot easier to get the shot... if you know what the shots supposed to look like.

I never set out to be a Photographer. Sure, Directing film has taught me composition and lighting, but I was happy just sending my clients to Photographers that were skilled in their craft. I found myself in a situation one day where about a dozen young actors needed shots for a show, and none of them had the financial where-with-all to pay for them. So I borrowed my Photographer friends camera and did the shots for them. You can only imagine my suprise when several of the Headshots and Comp cards won Awards at a pristegeous LA Acting Showcase.
After that my clients started asking me to do their Headshots... and word just got around.

I've spent a lot of time studying and working at the Art of Headshot Photography. And anyone that knows me, knows I don't do anything half way. I take a tremendous amount of pride in my shots and work very hard to make sure everyone I shoot leaves satisfied with tons of great pictures.
